The Five Coconutmilk Refreshers
Pink Drink
The Pink Drink is strawberry açaí base with coconut milk and strawberry pieces. 140 calories, 25 g of sugar, 50 mg of caffeine, $6.05 for a Grande. It is the most ordered Refresher of any kind.
- Why choose it: creamy strawberry with a light coconut finish, not too sweet.
- Nutrition tip: it is already the lowest-sugar coconut build; a Tall is under 120 calories.
Dragon Drink
The Dragon Drink is the mango dragonfruit base with coconut milk and dragonfruit pieces, bright magenta. 140 calories and 24 g of sugar, the least sugar in the section.
- Why choose it: tropical, a shade less sweet than the Pink Drink.
Mango Dream
The Mango Dream is the mango strawberry base with coconut milk, and it is the heaviest coconut build at 170 calories and 32 g of sugar in a Grande.
- Nutrition tip: the one to order in a Tall.
Island Colada Drink
The Island Colada Drink pours the passionfruit guava base with coconut milk over mango-pineapple pearls, a piña colada idea without the rum. 140 calories and 26 g of sugar. It is not on the reference store's pickup menu, so no price appears.
- Why choose it: the pearls and the coconut make it the most dessert-like Refresher.
Pink Cannon Ball Drink
The Pink Cannon Ball Drink is the coconut milk version of the Cannon Ball, both berry bases layered with fruit, made for the Beast Games promotion. 150 calories, 27 g of sugar, $6.05.
- Why choose it: a limited build; two Refreshers in one creamy cup.
Coconutmilk vs Plain vs Lemonade
The same strawberry açaí base makes three drinks. Plain, it is the Strawberry Açaí Refresher at 90 calories. With lemonade it is 140. With coconut milk it is the Pink Drink at 140. The coconut version has the most fat, the lemonade the most sugar, and the plain the least of both.
| Item | Calories | Sugar | Caffeine | Protein | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pink Drink | 140 | 25g | 50 mg | 0g | $6.05 |
| Island Colada Drink | 140 | 26g | 50 mg | 0g | not listed |
| Mango Dream | 170 | 32g | 50 mg | 0g | $6.05 |
| Dragon Drink | 140 | 24g | 50 mg | 1g | $6.05 |
| Pink Cannon Ball Drink | 150 | 27g | 50 mg | 1g | $6.05 |
Caffeine is identical across the three styles at 50 mg in a Grande, because it comes from the base and the base does not change.
Dairy, Sugar and Kids
The Pink Drink is dairy free and vegan as built; coconut milk is the only milk in it and the fruit pieces are plain freeze-dried fruit. It is not caffeine free, which matters because it is one of the most ordered drinks for children at Starbucks. A Tall carries less than the Grande's 50 mg but still some, and a Trenta approaches a small coffee.
Sugar runs 24 to 32 g in a Grande. Coconut milk is sweetened, so a coconut Refresher cannot be made sugar free the way a plain iced tea can; asking for less base and more coconut milk lowers the fruit sugar a little but raises the fat.

Ordering Tips
- Light ice: more coconut milk, creamier, more calories.
- Extra fruit inclusions: free and adds almost nothing on the panel.
- Half water, half coconut milk: a lighter version most baristas will make.
- Add vanilla sweet cream cold foam on top: a common social-media order that pushes a Grande toward 250 calories and adds dairy.
- Oat milk instead of coconut: allowed, tastes different, similar calories.
- A Trenta Pink Drink is 280 calories; the Tall is 110.
Coconutmilk Refreshers declare none declared and contain coconut, which the FDA treats as a tree nut on labels. They are shaken in shared shakers.
